Volunteer service is important for everyone. Nurses and
nursing students with disabilities may find this
experience rewarding in many ways. Through volunteer efforts,
nurses and students can help others, utilize nursing knowledge
and experience, learn new skills, and open doors to new opportunities.
Volunteering for Tsunami Emergency in South Asia
Project HOPE is organizing U.S. health professionals interested
in volunteering in the disaster relief efforts in South Asia.
